Since February 15, 2023, the blog has been running for nearly two years. However, the previous setup was considered too costly, with slow or failed page loading and poor security. Therefore, I decided to update the blog architecture.

This article mainly shares some details from the travel and other related matters that weren’t covered in the "Itinerary". There are also many practical tips included!

(Actually, we didn't do much planning ourselves. Most of it came from the helpful suggestions of some friends in online forums. Special thanks to everyone for their enthusiastic support!)

Originally, my plan for this summer(2024) was to travel to other cities in China, with a mix of solo travel and meetups. However, I heard from some classmates and friends that they were planning a trip to Japan, and that got me excited because I had actually been thinking about traveling to Japan since the beginning of the semester. The friend who was traveling with me had a crazy plan—15 days packed full (since a single-entry Japan tourist visa allows for a 15-day stay). Starting from Tokyo, we would head west and south all the way to Fukuoka and Saga. At first, I hesitated, thinking the budget would blow up and that the time might not be enough. But in the end, I decided to let him plan the main itinerary, and I just followed along.

Today is February 15, 2023, the first day I set up this blog. In this moment, I am incredibly excited!
As someone with almost no knowledge in this area, just setting up a website has been quite a challenge for me. I want to give a special thanks to my Twitter friend, Steven Lynn, for his help. He has saved me from making many mistakes!
From now on, I'll be sharing interesting things here from time to time (though I’m not sure how often I’ll update, but this is the shift from 0 to 1!).
